June 1 marks the first anniversary of the RISE Project. We began last year with 13 core organizations, with the stated goal to enable and improve the RISC-V software ecosystem. By many measures, we feel we have succeeded, and continue to grow. These are just a few of the things RISE has achieved in the past 12 months:
- Now 23 member organizations all working collaboratively upstream on RISC-V software
- Established the Technical Steering Committee with three co-chairs
- Established ten technical working groups as well as an outreach committee
- Funding 8 different external software projects via our RFP process
- Published the definitive RISC-V Software Optimization Guide
- Outstanding relationship with RISC-V International
- Presence at many RISC-V events
We are proud of the work we have done thus far, and look forward to another year of collaborative upstream development!
